Tern Post

After a morning of more chores (fixing a shed door, hanging pictures, clearing stuff out the loft, trip to the tip - all decided on needing done in postponement of the car boot sale), popping in by Newburgh on the way to lunch in Aberdeen resulted in no King Eider, but 1000s of Terns are on show, and watching them fight over a post out on the water was fun (this a pair of Common Terns, but saw a few Sandwich Terns as well).

The seals were in the high water, rather than out basking.

Managed a short ride in the morning, taking in more nostalgia of places I used to play around Ellon, but sadly no red squirrels on show, and in the process nabbed the few miles I needed for a second successive 500 mile month.
