Trying To Remember

The last time any family came down to Falmouth, stand fast Mark, I think it must have been for my 60th.
A cooked breakfast where Penny & James were introduced to Rick Stein's Hogs Pudding followed a long catch up between Penny, James and Clare, full of laughter and fun as it always is between friends.
We set off for Falmouth, having had a full cafetière of coffee at breakfast we settled for Cortado's first off then onwards to the shops.
We made our way back through town to the pier where we sat and enjoyed some glorious sunshine.
When Sam finished she went home and showered then joined us for yet more coffee before walking up Jacobs Ladder with James - me I used my bus pass for the first time and took Penny up to Marlborough on the hopper bus.
Another catch up with Clare and all too soon it was time for our guests to leave, guiding them to Chiverton Cross roundabout meant having already had a Costa and Nero during the day we could round it off with a Starbucks!!
Back home, papers read and time for bed.
