Prudential Ride London 100

No trips to Bushy Park for me this morning as I rode the Prudential Ride London today. It was a long and eventful day. I had a 2.5 hour wait at the start which is when I took this photo with my phone. Due to a serious accident 38 miles in a huge tailback developed and those of us who had a late start did not move for over two hours. consequently, once we were riding again we were taken on a diversion which made the route a bit shorter than 100 miles - this happened to me last year too! Despite all of that I did enjoy the ride. Just after the Scilly Isles roundabout I found myself cycling along side a very pleasant lady whose name is Ewa. We started chatting and ended up finishing the ride together which was lovely - see my extra photo.
Getting back to Waterloo Station from Buck House was a nightmare.
PS I am not entering this ride again.......!
