Lavender

Our usual Saturday, prepping the Lodge for the next set of guests.  When we arrived the previous guests hadn't left so we started with jobs in the garden.  We have been planning for a while to have a Lavender hedge at the bottom of the bank beside the car parking.

So that was first job was planting.  We have been collecting plants for a good period so some were larger than others.  The plan is to put the larger ones in and then intersperse them with the small plants.

I managed to get the large ones planted, not as easy as it sounds, the soil really needs a hard rock miner if a hole of any size is required.  The Lavender flowers seemed to make a suitable shot for the day.
