I had a choice. New, small but interesting local skatepark or old, large, varied and equally interesting skatepark.

I went with the more likely chance of peers. Old and large won out. At new and small I'd probably be on my todd or surrounded by scoot kids. As it was, old and large had a couple of skaters I knew and it makes for a much more fun experience.
