Top bloke/top day :)

Twas the 1940s in Pateley Bridge, Nidderdale, North Yorkshire today... we do seem to go back in time quite regularly round here but I'm glad about that because it's always a grand day out, full of quirky folk.  
AND a great reason for a blip meet!

This jolly gent was passing the afternoon, reading his paper, under the awning of a rather spiffing 1930s caravan.  I confess to concentrating on photographing his very beautiful wife really, but he seemed so chuffed to be asked if I could take his photo - bless him.... he's got twinkle hasn't he :))
