Zine launch

Another morning of indolence before going to work. Our second Art in Crisis event and we were launching our 'Songs that Shaped our Lives' Zine. Itc was a great couple of hours of chat and music at Elvis Shakespeare, amazing second hand book andcrecord store on Leith Walk. This is Mairi Campbell playing. She has a show at Summerhall from Wednesday. Her other gig was singing 'Auld Lyne Sang' on the 'Sex in the City' movie as part of The Cast. In an 'isn't Scotland a small place moment' I first met her husband Dave Francis about 35 years ago in Aberdeen when he was a leading light in the rebirth of the ceilidh scene.

I also caught up with family, 2 visits to the Manor and a hassle free and less stressful one to M, K and baby James, now 4+ months old. 20 mph zones started today. But not much chance of getting above walking pace driving down the Canongate.
