Messing about on the River

My brother was given a voucher for a day trip on a narrow boat for his birthday by the family when we were all away in Spain. Today we all enjoyed it together but we did allow Alan to be Captain. We picked up the boat at Bidford and sailed up the River Avon towards Stratford, mooring up at a pub for lunch as you do. A really nice day together, lovely scenery and only a few bumps on the side walls as we negotiated the locks.

The blip was a queue to use a lock, it was exciting because we didn't see too many other boats. In extras, my bro, his youngest daughter and my sons at the steering end; the boys doing the hard work at a lock and finally Lesley almost overboard
