Tunnelling

It might look as though GravyC and ZQ are building a sandcastle for Noo, but I think they were tunnelling to the centre of the earth. They were at it for 2 hours, and GravyC has worn away his finger tips!! Meanwhile, Noo did battle with imaginary figures and bombs made from shells stuffed with sand. He occasionally filled a bucket with sea water to pour into the castle moat, only to be 'told off' for pouring it in carelessly and 'eroding' the castle walls...

We finished this little trip to Seaview with a cup of tea and cake. It's lovely here and we will come back!

The boys dropped me off at Quarr Abbey so that I could run back 'home' via the coastal path.
