Brief trip to Space

Explorer London central today. Expected it to be crazy busy.

It was pretty much empty. Large groups of ask me a question volunteers stood around looking lost. There would be seven different people helping one guy with a map.

As it turns out, normal tourists don't want to go to London if they aren't going to the Olympics. And normal Londoners have been scared from doing so.
So that only leaves those Olympic viewers who are all at the village. There don't even seem to be that many of them judging by the empty seat syndrome. Apparently shopping is down quite a lot from this time last year.

So much to take photos of today. Went to the Natural History Museum (pictured) and got a behind the scenes tour from a friend.

This was my alternate shot, a panorama of a street performer in Covent Garden. It looked rather small when I uploaded it, so I went with the space dude instead.
