Happy Birthday Tomas!

An afternoon and evening of celebrating the birthday of our friend Tomas. We made a promise to our friend (his wife) to make his birthday special while she couldn't be with him.

We had a tough night last night with Aj waking at 2am crying and then being sick just after 3am. So after a quick bed strip and clean up operation, Aj climbed into our bed and we had 4 hours sleep.

I walked DM to her friends and managed to trip over on our way there - a nice graze on my elbow and a couple of bruises to add to the collection!

Aj, R&P helped me to bake a birthday cake this afternoon, while DM was at her friends birthday party.

We then paid a visit to Tomas to sing Happy Birthday with the kiddies.

We've had a lovely adults only evening meal tonight at Coast to Coast. It was meant to be a Grillstock and Gelato evening but Grillstock had run out of burgers, pulled pork and chicken and then Gelato Village had closed at 6pm :( Nevertheless, we had a very tasty meal at Coast to Coast, with some cocktails and delicious puddings!

All in all a great ending to a great day.
