Just hanging around

The local entry to the Alternate Olympics  is Team Squirrel showing off their skills practicing  for  the Feeder Raiding competition. They considered entering  Gymnastics but realized their particular skills were more suited to this competition. The team took their turns at shimmying up the pole, hanging off the bar , grabbing sunflower seeds, and stuffing their mouths. They rested in between sets by sitting in the platform feeder having a few snacks. Team squirrel has 5 members , all of whom represent the elite of the Feeder Raiding contenders.They knocked off  both Team Red Squirrel and Team chipmunk in the Trials by a combination of skill and persistence, refusing to give  up even in the face of human interference and intermittent heavy rain.
