Sunday: The Drive

We headed out for a diner breakfast this morning - 'Nelly's Kitchen' on 4th Avenue. It was superb - food, service and atmosphere.

We then drove through town to another car showroom - the drive there took us along E Hastings, a very different area to what we have seen, in terms of homeless people. It was pretty stark.

We drove back via Commercial Drive, another eclectic area of town, and the first place where we have found an excellent bookshop. We think we have also settled on the car we want......

And, finally, one way to get to know your neighbours is to rescue our howling cat (i.e. Max) from their roof......
