Gorffen, Gorffen haf, Gorffennaf

Yn Gymraeg, 'July' ydy diwedd yr haf - Gorffennaf yn dod o 'gorffen' a 'haf'.  Dyn ni ddim yn meddwl dyn ni wedi cael ein haf eto, a dyn ni'n edrych ymlaen at ein gwyliau ym Mis medi.

Heddiw ro'n ni'n eithaf blino ar ôl gwaith ddoe. Symudon ni mwy o flychau yn y bore ac aethon ni cerdded o gwmpas mynwent Llandaf yn y prynhawn. Dyn ni'n hoffi mynwentydd.  Maen nhw'n dawel ac yn aml gordyfu ac esgeuluso.  Heddychlon.

In Welsh, July is the end of summer - Gorfennaf comes from 'Gorffen' (finished) and 'Haf' (Summer).  We don't think we have had our summer yet, and we're looking forward to our holiday in September.

Today we were quite tired after yesterday's work. We moved more boxes in the morning and we went walking around Llandaff cemetery in the afternoon. We like cemeteries. They are quiet and often overgrown and neglected. Peaceful.
