Don't touch!

This oleander flower is so delicate, but it is not as innocuous as it seems. Oleanders are poisonous, the leaves, the flowers and the sap. I grew this from a cutting and it is hardy, in a pot close to the house. We had oleander trees in our garden in Nairobi, but the children were aware of the danger and kept clear of them. We also had frangipani, flame trees and jacaranda trees.
