Haddington Monument

This week's challenge is to leave fancy cameras at home and simply take a photo with a mobile phone.  That's actually quite difficult.  What to photograph?  Well, I just took my mobile out and about with me as I did a number of errands today.  
This is a monument to a man in Haddington, George Hay, 8th Marquis of Tweeddale.  He was a Scottish soldier and administrator who rose to the rank of Field Marshal in the British army. Born in 1787, he had 14 children. He died in 1876 in Yester nearby.  He was an agriculturalist, Lord Lieutenant of Haddingtonshire, and Governor of Madras. A colourful history.
He's obviously been vandalised numerous times. Bits of him are broken off and the tip of his nose is now what looks like a plastic repair. Yet he still commands the main part of town.
