My first butterfly...

Had I not spent quite a time photographing the grand children at Tyninghame Beachand then in the play park in the Lodge Grounds at North Berwick, I might be feeling a bit better about posting my first butterfly of the season. I have an aversion to posing people and prefer candid shots but somehow my grand daughter, Emma managed to close her eyes in practically all of the dozens of shots I took of her. Yes I know its only a plain old cabbage white with wings furled on a purple flower but somehow that counts for success today !
