Clover Flower and Old Warrior

This adult butterfly has been flying around for about one month, and it's looking like an old warrior. Each of it's delicate wings are missing chunks and one wing has a split. But it's still flying and feeding, and could live a month longer if it's wings hold up.

The black form of a female eastern tiger swallowtail is the ID for this butterfly. The other eastern tiger swallowtail form is the more familiar tiger coloration consisting of yellow with dark stripes.
