...And then the sun came out

Strange how restoring one's house to normality should take so long and be so tiring ... Today was full of draught excluders and caulk, E-cloths and grime ... But then the sun came out, and it was already late afternoon and we decided to abandon it all and go for a walk.

It's a kind of madness, this desire to walk when you're already physically knackered, but it's a good madness, and today it took us to Loch Striven side to walk along the narrow road bordered by an incredible lushness of grass and wayside flowers. That's why I've included some of them as a frame to one of my favourite views; normally the tranquil water with the reflected clouds and hills would be enough.

In the end we walked only 3 miles or so, but I'm glad we went.
