Windblown

This male Northern Flicker fledgling seemed to be having a "bad feather day" atop the high feeder! His feathers did settle down later, I'm pleased to report.

I've come to the conclusion that I'm a bird photo addict, as I simply cannot stop myself from picking up my camera when birds appear at the feeders on our deck. No new ones have shone up for a while, but the everyday activities of the regulars fascinate me!

I justify the time spent taking all these photos with the assumption that come winter, we won't have as many birds visiting and the light will be dull... we'll see if that's what happens!
