Last week's new building this week

On such a crisp winter's day I headed towards the hospital on my lunchtime walk. This is another angle of the new building I blipped across the Avon River last week.

Winter has been mild but we're now into a very different air mass, one I'm about to experience with my running group.

I've been watching the weather maps since Sunday. There is definitely a lot of snow on the way. Will it drop as low as Christchurch? It will be close, it could go either way.

One of my favourite weather websites is predicting 5.6cm in my suburb later in the week. In NZ terms that's enough for Christchurch to grind to a halt.
