Today I am calling out to people to support me and my music. Help me on my journey and indeed "walk with me today".

From the small village of Mauchline in Ayrshire, Scotland I will now embark on my journey to the city of Glasgow in search of opportunities to perform in front of people every night. I am not scared to ask you and every other single person I meet for some help as I per sue a life long dream.

Recently I have set up my garage with a live PA system to practice for the months of performing that lie ahead. I was practicing certain songs that seemed better recorded than they did live so I sat down with my guitar and started strumming a few chords and singing nonsense. This is a good technique to allow a tune to progress if you cannot think of any words. I was imagining myself performing to a live crowd and the gibberish turned into "walk with me today" after a matter of seconds, albeit followed by some blah blah blahs for awhile until I found a sound and then worked out where the song was going. The song began with "walk with me today" but I knew instantly that it was this phrase that would carry the song and it was an obvious title choice. I then started thinking of how a simple walk can solve so many problems by allowing you a chance to clear your head and communicate easier. Also, how powerful a message could be conveyed through a seemingly simple phrase and action that is "Walk with me today".
