Piratey Flash mob

Today's event was fun. Basically. a 'muggle' (non-pirate) becomes a pirate if he grabs a bottle of rum.

There was a table set up in Ashbourne Market square and about 200+ people in attendance waiting for that magic moment.

Eventually, just after 12pm a brave person grabbed the rum and was instantly mobbed and covered in pirate gear and showered with gifts. I think it was taken in good humour! A very fun event.

The event made the local news paper too.
