Typhoon Nida's handiwork!

Goodness, did it rain! Managed to sleep through most of the typhoon last night, but enjoyed the howling in the morning and the incredible showers this morning/afternoon.

We had to venture into town today for a significant 'procedure' for Martin ... details may follow ... hope all has gone well with that. Tomorrow will 'look' better!

Hong Kong was pretty chaotic as people headed into work half way through the day and traffic was insane. Ferries resumed normal schedule around midday.

There seemed to be more damage here in DB than the city though. Some trees were down in the Plaza, these ones by the Pier. Hope they can salvage some of these, they always seem to here, quite amazing.
