Along the river Vantaa

As the summer stubbornly resists, it is good to use part of the weekend exploring the outer side of Helsinki. I have been cycling with M along the river Vantaa, which in some of its parts reminds me of the Water of Leith in Edinburgh. We must have cycled some 20 Km or so. It was not much, but it was enough to discover that a good part of the river had been invaded by Finns on dinghies of all sorts and colours. People spent the whole day on them, simply drinking beer or singing.
