Tide's in

Here is my friend making me nervous. Last year when we finished the coast to coast the tradition is to dip your boots in the North Sea. So today , back in Robin Hoods Bay, she decided to do the same! Two more days to go...
Day 7.Our longest day yet. I know I say that every day! From Runswick across the beach and then up among the cliffs, with some downs and ups of course until we got to Sandsend which is the top part of Whitby beach but 2 miles from Whitby across the sand. It was enjoyable seeing the colourful beach huts and Abbey get closer. Until we arrived in town and it was a scrum. All these trippers made it hard to walk out! We had a proper lunch ( crab sandwiches and scampi if you're asking) and bought the desired jet earrings before heading out towards Robin Hoods Bay. It felt again it was a long slog, and it rained! 16. 5 miles in total.
