Col de Croix du Bonhomme

Day 9
Another long but glorious day.
Steady climb with no tree cover (more grazed pasture and less forest in the French part) to refuge at the col with this view looking to the mountains south of Mont Blanc. There were also choughs entertaining us
Traverse on narrow, rough paths to Col du Bonhomme and lunch stop on the col.
Steep descent to upper valley and a more gradual one to lower valley and eventually a second lunch stop.
More down on a track with a stop for icecream/drinks, another to look at a gorge and a brief one by a church.
Final section by a river, cliffs and water park to our campsite - though we missed the turning and had to do an extra 1k.
