We're making a vegetarian recipe???

What a helper. She was very disappointed, shocked actually as you can see. I broke the news that the dish almost ready for the oven (after some tomato sauce,  tin foil and a bit some mozzarella cheese after it cooks for a while), was all VEGETABLES. The added cheese will save her day, that face will change quickly in a few hours.

Two more hours with a different crew of AC men this morning fixed yesterday's leaking like a faucet new Ductless AC unit up in our loft. I'm lucky to just have a very sore goose egg on my head as I stupidly rushed up the stairs with a step ladder and a sponge an pan to catch the leak yesterday afternoon. Without thinking I climbed the ladder forgetting I had turned on the loft ceiling fan again. It's not a tall ceiling and I was on a ladder... the tip of one wooden blade hit me in the side of the head . The AC repair man admitted it had happened to him once as well. So, everything is fine now, the drain hose is properly connected and it's actually cool enough for no AC today. Figures, and I have a sore head, thankfully not a broken nose or black eye.

This day came in with a darkening sky and  much needed showers on and off all day, not enough but something.
