Autumn, you say? Already?

A chilly start this morning, there was a real nip of autumn in the air.  Ollie and I went to check on the blackberries in the top field and the grass was soaking and full of cobwebs.  It looks as if there will be quite a crop this year, but they are way off being ripe yet.

Extra shift in the shop today and the poor chilly tourists from the cruise liners came down and bought several jumpers and lots of scarves, which they wore as they left the shop!  It's an ill wind . . . !
