End of the line

My friend's last day at work today :(  Everyone was feeling a bit flat and subdued for most of the day, but after she did her handover with my boss they went for a couple of drinks this afternoon, and everything was a lot jollier when they came back!  A whole group of us stood around chatting with her in reception until the end of the workday, then she refused to say goodbye, so we just parted with a 'see you later.'  I'm so impressed with the practical and dignified way she has taken this quite unexpected and frankly unfair redundancy.

Absolutely knackered again today.  I just can't do hangovers anymore - they go on for days!  I did make myself fairly useful this evening though, making dinner and doing some washing.
