How cool is this dude?! We found as a stray believe it or not up someone's conifer tree. My job never fails to surprise me every day!

Got to release the gull I picked up yesterday behind the beach hut. It was raining and miserable on the beach but I went to the life guard hut as the called it in and thought they may like to see the release. Underneath the hut was a group of people having a picnic. They were very excited that I was releasing the gull and wanted to name it after one of the ladies who was celebrating the 40th birthday. Don't think the gull minded too much....

Last day at work till next week. Only having 3 days off in 21 days has been hard going, will be making the most of my days off.
