I have been incredibly busy entertaining our guests (from the States) that my blipping has been neglected. Hopefully, by the weekend I shall see a bit of relief (and it will show in my blips!).

We took our guests to see Sumner Beach and had lunch at the Poseidon Restuarant right there on the beach. Don't think I'd go back again. First off, the service could've been better and second, the seagulls are awful. The second the patrons next to us left their table, at least twenty birds were fighting over the scraps left on the table. I felt an anxious fear starting to rise, reminicent of the Hitchcock movie Birds, as the squacking and screeching multiplied and countless wings became quite frenzied!

Not something I wanted my guests to experience, I had to use my fork as a weapon to keep them at bay until finally waitstaff came to the rescue and cleared away the dishes.

Saw this lone sailboat slowly coming in...I could relate to it as I feel I've been going against the wind all day.
