In stark contrast . . .
. . . to yesterday! This is Haweswater.
Haweswater is a reservoir built in the valley of Mardale to provide water for Manchester. In the building, two villages were flooded and lost. At the time of drought, when the water level is low - obviously not at the moment - people come to see what is left of the village of Mardale.
A note
Over the last few weeks, angelightphoto has been locating and photographing butterflies. These are by far the best photos of butterflies that I have ever seen. If you are reading this and haven't seen these images, I suggest you have a look.
