Negative Space

Wow! That's a very technical title for me to come up with.  I follow Emma Davies A Year With My Camera and this month the focus is on different aspects of composition.  Today we were asked to look at negative space - space around the subject to allow it to breathe, and to enhance the composition.  This is my attempt.  I should have been in Christchurch Priory museum, but they were doing some repairs up there and 'elf'nsafety decreed I couldn't open up.  So I went out to play in the sun and ended up at the ruins of Christchurch Castle.  The castle was at the centre of an argument between Royalists and Roundheads, and didn't come out of it too well.
