Rembrandt at Buckland Abbey
We knew today was going to be wet so we decided on National Trust and went to Buckland Abbey. This was interesting. They also have an original self portrait of Rembrandt which they have authenticated. There were various videos and display boards about Drake and the Armada. When we had gone around everything we left and it was still pouring so opted to go back to the hotel. Unfortunately for us (and the person) somebody had been knocked down and grid locked Tavistock so we had to find our way around not knowing the area. It took us an hour to get back and we settled for going to the bar and having a bottle of wine (between us)
A wet miserable day
