Kingston Lacy
Today we had a two hour drive to have a look round our friend Tim's new property, Kingston Lacy, a house from the time of Charles II, but was added to in the 19th century, so looks more like a French chateau. The blip,is of Bev outside the house.
They'll be moving house soon to be nearer work for Tim, who manages this National Trust property and estate. It was a great visit, as everything that was in the house when it was handed over is still there - Tintorettos and Rubens. There's loads of marble and heaps to see. We didn't have time to visit half the grounds, so we'll visit another time.
