Cascade des Anglais

Today we got a packed train to Vizzavona to walk up to the Cascade does Anglais.

A beautiful walk through woodland with stunning peaks overhead. We followed the route of the GR20 and met a few people who were attempting the route, supposedly the toughest of the grand randonees. We met an English man who looked bushed but nevertheless happy who was having the time of his life, having completed the route by himself.

We swam, we jumped off 5 metre rocks into supposedly deep enough pools, we ate a substantial picnic.

Arriving back at Vizzavona we drank several cool beers listening to great music.

We're now on the train back to Corte.

This is some holiday. We'll be coming to Corsica again for sure.
