Wild Wednesday.

Avebury is hosting Wild Wednesday throughout the school summer holidays, with the rangers helping adventurous kids to complete one of the "50 things to do before you are 11 3/4." Today was No 18: Create some wild art. Harry had already ticked this one off, but Cousin Emma was keen to weave and then decorate a willow crown. Here she is showing off her handiwork with Harry and Uncle Mark. 
Crown made, we had the obligatory tea and cakes at the National Trust tea shop and then did a tour of the stone circle, on a cleverly designed "Spot the stone" quiz game. The sunshine and warmth were welcome bonuses.
