Abandoned, deserted, left, solitary, alone, neglected.
As soon as I saw this, these kinds of words came into my head and somehow I related them to my Grandma's situation.

A busy tiring day at work.
A text waiting for me after work saying Grandma has got to leave the care home, and a nursing home is the next step.
We have to empty her room asap. Grandma is very upset, worrying where she is going to end up.

A 2 and a half hour counselling session tonight; had loads to talk about and the tissue box got half emptied.

Life just needs to stop.
