Ile Bonaventure

Across the harbor from Perce is Bonaventure Island, a Quebec Provincial Park. 250,000 gannets spend the summer here raising their one chick before flying to warmer climates for the winter. We took a ferry tour of the island before hiking about 4 miles on the island to see the wildlife. We were up close and personal with gannets, cormorants, gulls, gray seals. It was spectacular!
