Gaita Galega

Bagpipes, common in northern Portugal and here in Galicia. It's wonderful to be back! Everything is so green!

Tomorrow we hope to visit the City of Culture. It's supposedly a huge white elephant that has practically bankrupted the city, but I'm eager to see Peter Eisenmam's creation.

Then we join the TransCantabrico!

(The country may have a few financial challenges, but at least Spain has invested in exceptional infrastructure and bold public works!)
