We Do Like to Be Beside the Seaside

TM's birthday today.

We went to Archerfield for lunch - there is a good outdoor play area there, and the children loved it, even though they had to wear full waterproofs and wellies. They served our 'picnic lunches' in little wicker baskets, which was a great idea, and would have been even nicer eaten outside.

It dried up a bit in the afternoon and we braved the beach at North Berwick. We even had it to ourselves for a while, then the sun came out! No 2 son and the children demonstrated their Scottish genes by going for a paddle!
