Buchanhaven harbour
I left the grandchildren with Colin this morning, to join my walking group for the first time since June. Today's walk was the new Peterhead Town Trail, some six miles around the Blue Toon, noting it's history and contribution to commerce. It was a beautiful morning, so the pink granite shone. And it was actually warm, which is not a common occurrence here, even in the summer. By afternoon the weather had broken, with thunder and heavy rain, so the afternoon activities were restricted to indoor fun, which didn't bother the children as they had had a good morning digging up tattles with Grandad.
