It poured down and it was windy but she didn't stop smiling. She loved every event, but particularly the long jump where she did particularly well. The above snap was taken during the second lap of the 800m. She was in third place on the first lap, then she caught up with her friend in second place, held her hand, had a chat and tried to pull her along, then she saw me, waved and smiled but resisted the urge to come over for a mid race hug! She then tried to make a sprint to catch her friend in first place but ran out of track. She seemed completely oblivious to the fact that she was in a race and was bouncing around at the end waiting for the next event! She is such a happy bundle of energy and fun!
