Lockdown

Bad news in our tiny, bucolic town this morning.  A man broke into someone's house in the wee hours and shot the home owner.  Right now there is a manhunt going on, and the police have told us to lock the doors and to be very careful if we need to venture outside.  This crime took place less than two miles from where we live.  You never expect to have this sort of thing happen in your own back yard.

SITUATION CLEARED IN BRIDGEWATER
The search for the gunman is no longer active. The State Troopers have determined that the suspect has fled the scene and the area is clear. Officers are still in Bridgewater reviewing the crime scene, but residents are not in any danger. The State Police have said it is now safe to go about your business today.
