Elinor in the orchard

our last day on Piers we had a classic family photo endeavour in the orchard. The orchard was planted by the Dukkabors in the 1940s when Piers was used as a detention camp. They are still bearing fruit today.
Unfortunately one of the maple trees has decided that it is going to be an early fall or that it needs to die. Either way, the tree is shedding all its leaves, a perfect play area for Elinor
