Diary of an Edinburgher

Magic trick

Mislaying her gym membership card this would have been used as a good excuse not to go for many a person (moi) but not JR - she is determined to keep it up.

Bailey and her mum came to take Archie out for a big run - he must have had fun, he came back looking like he'd been rolling about in a farmyard, possibly with some pigs. No worries - straight into the shower for him, and he looks and smells lovely.

Just as well, because I think we have a spoilt child on our hands now with regards to where he sleeps. His big bed in the hallway has been fine all his life so far, in fact, he always hopped in and lay down without much persuasion. But now, he gets agitated, won't settle, stands in a corner. JR (Big Softy), gives in and brings him to bed. It works every time. Hmmmmm....

The untouched other bit of the hedge, which I could see from my sofa, was really bugging me, so I started to snip at it. In fact, though it took me all day (with lots of sit downs), I've snipped right along the top to the corner, which is far as I can see from my sofa. The rest can wait.

I was finishing off the carton of milk and, as usual, there was Archie, at my feet, gazing up at the object of his deep desire. No, not me - the empty milk carton. He goes crazy over them! But he surprised me today by doing his Tommy Cooper impression to levitate the carton before tearing it to shreds. (Look at those ridiculously fluffy legs).
