50 Shades of Chinz

Amidst the rude mechanicals of these parts there are islands of startling apparrent gentility.

A few days ago (although time has stretched into an infinite loop in which the term day only has meaning as a separator for the potential photographic opportunities provided by dawn and dusk) we visited a village of such chocolate box perfection that it was obviously the site of a gruesome weekly murder which could only be solved by an improbable detective. After the resolution of each case as the TV crew packs away its gear, the curtains twitch then the occupants resume their unspeakable depravities. Just don't get stains on the chinz.
