Leaving

What makes people cry when they are happy? What makes others oblivious to the agony of departures while others seem to curl up instead. I have really wondered that quite a lot over the years. That said I think it was just sadness at saying goodbye to school which pushed child #2 over the edge, somehow I again managed to keep a stiff upper lip and quite frankly I don't know how.

Many goodbyes and with the P7 teacher who was simply wonderful, full of humour and humanity. Wow, they didn't really make them like that in my day.
