Are you sure this is our hotel for the night?

So this photo is a back-blip (as promised) taken a few months ago in between my busy life visiting my unwell mother and helping to relieve my step father from his caring duties.

This incredible photo is of the entrance to our hotel in The Netherlands on our way to the Italian Riviera taken whilst we were trying our best to avoid possible problems in France. 

The hotel had suffered a big fire a few months prior to our arrival but had been made safe and just round the corner in the photo (which cannot be seen) was a nice shiny reception area and temporary restaurant for us to use during the duration of our one night stop over. You will be pleased to know that once we were in our room we had no awareness of the former dining and common areas that was lying in rubble just round the corner. What a big sigh of relief! :-)
